Why this page exists
A publication that covers a 24-hour market at news speed will make mistakes. The measure of a newsroom is not a spotless record, which does not exist, but what happens in the hours after an error is found. At CRYPTO PULZE the answer is: we fix it fast, we fix it visibly, and we do not quietly rewrite history and hope nobody noticed.
What counts as what
Corrections
A correction is for a factual error: a wrong number, a misattributed quote, a mislabeled chart, a claim that turned out to be false. When we correct an article, we fix the text and append a correction note stating what was wrong and when it was fixed. The note stays on the article permanently. Serious errors are corrected in the headline treatment too, not just buried in paragraph nine.
Clarifications
A clarification is for something technically accurate but genuinely misleading: missing context, ambiguous phrasing, an emphasis that gave a wrong impression. These get a clarification note explaining what was added or reworded and why.
Updates
Crypto stories evolve. An exchange restores withdrawals, a project ships the patch, a regulator issues the follow-up statement. Developments like these get an update line with a timestamp. Updates record new events; they are not a way of papering over errors, and we do not use them as one.
What does not get flagged
Fixed typos, grammar, and formatting that do not change meaning. Also, and this matters on a crypto site: a price that has moved since publication is not an error. Every figure we print is accurate as of writing and ages immediately; our Disclaimer explains why you should never trade off a number in a news article.
Reporting an error
Email support@cryptopulze.com with the subject line CORRECTION and include three things:
- The link to the article;
- The exact sentence, figure, or claim you believe is wrong;
- Your evidence: a transaction hash, an official statement, a filing, a primary source we can check ourselves.
Correction emails jump our queue. We aim to assess claims about market-moving or safety-relevant facts within hours and everything else within two business days. If we agree, we fix and annotate the piece. If we disagree, we will tell you why rather than ignoring you, because sometimes the disagreement itself reveals that the article needed to be clearer.
Serious errors and unpublishing
If an error is significant enough that the article’s core premise fails, we say so at the top of the piece in plain language. We do not delete articles to erase mistakes. Unpublishing is reserved for rare cases involving legal requirements or genuine safety concerns, and where it happens, a note explains that a page was removed and why. The record of what we published, including what we got wrong, is part of being accountable.
Wrong on-chain reads
Because our Fact-Checking Policy leans on blockchain data, a special category of error is the wrong on-chain interpretation: mislabeled wallets, misread contract interactions, exchange cold-wallet movements mistaken for something dramatic. When we get one of these wrong, the correction note names the specific misreading, because our readers use the same tools we do and deserve to know exactly where the analysis failed.
The ledger principle
We cover an industry built on immutable ledgers, and we think the standard applies to us as well. Errors are appended and corrected in the open, not overwritten. If you ever find a CRYPTO PULZE article that appears to have been substantively changed without a note, that is itself a policy violation and we want to hear about it at support@cryptopulze.com.
