The Major United States Crypto exchange, Coinbase has launched an update to support the Ethereum Classic or ETC for its Coinbase Wallet. At the moment the app of Coinbase Wallet updates itself which is scheduled to be fully completed in over a few days, its users will be able to gain an access to view, receive as well as send the ETC to their addresses. The Ethereum Classic will, however, remain same as their present ETH address for the already signed-in users of the app.
Apart from Ethereum Classic, with this recent update, the app of Coinbase Wallet will now easily support the reception and sending of ETH as well as over ten thousand ERC20 tokens, and also provide storage for its users.
Coinbase had announced the listing of ETC on their trading platform back in June which had helped the company gain a sudden hike in the value of their assets. And it was added to their Coinbase Index Fund after the listing went on air in August.
A similar type of venture was undertaken by fellow crypto exchange and wallet service Bittrex with the addition U.S dollar-ETC trading pair. Another app-related to crypto trading named Robinhood had announced the launch of their update.
As per the data revealed by the CoinMarketCap, ETC currently holds the 17th position in crypto, with trade worth $4.30.
